Physical Therapist
Lauren joined Centre Physical Therapy in November 2024, bringing her expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation and a passion for patient-centered care. Originally from Houston, Texas, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Houston’s renowned Medical Center. Following PT school, she completed a prestigious orthopedic residency at Memorial Hermann Rockets Sports Medicine Institute, where she gained advanced training in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
During her residency, Lauren discovered a love for teaching while instructing students in local PT programs. She also collaborated closely with University of Texas physicians specializing in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery, becoming an integral part of Memorial Hermann’s hip preservation program. Her research on hip conditions, particularly the Periacetabular Osteotomy (PAO) procedure, was presented at multiple conferences and symposiums across Texas.
Lauren has a special interest in treating hip injuries, ACL reconstruction recovery, ankle injuries and surgeries, and spinal conditions. She takes pride in creating individualized rehabilitation plans that empower her patients to regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their daily lives.
Outside of the clinic, Lauren enjoys exploring Chicago with her boyfriend (who is also a physical therapist), spending time with her two beloved cats, rock climbing, golfing, practicing yoga, and weightlifting.
